About us
Graebener® is a medium-sized, family owned machine building company with locations in Netphen (Germany) and Houston (USA) as well as a variety of international representatives. Based on more than 100 years of experience in the metal processing business we develop and realize customized solutions for the core markets of automotive industries, hydroforming, manufacturing of large pipes, shipbuilding, wind tower production, vessel construction and hydrogen.
Our product range includes hydraulic forming machines, milling and bending machines, calibration and straightening presses as well panel production lines. In addition, we have been one of the first companies to focus on the research and development of manufacturing processes and machines for fuel cell and electrolyzer components, such as metallic bipolar plates and stacks. With our business unit Graebener® Bipolar Plate Technologies, we have dedicated ourselves to setting the quality standard for these manufacturing technologies. To achieve this, we develop innovative processes that help to manufacture components for hydrogen-based energy generation that are tailor-made, integrable, scalable and thus economically efficient.

Our 4-roll bending machines differentiate from the standard when it comes to the production of large vessels, wind towers and monopiles with increased wall thickness. We have specialized on types of applications which require a continuously high production output and quality from the machines – even at a wall thickness of up to 200 mm. Corresponding to this, the Graebener® roll bending machines have a robust and long-lasting design.
Graebener® Circ and Long Seam Milling Machines
Our market leading circ seam milling machines ensure the cost-efficient, reliable and safe weld seam preparation of extremely narrow welding gaps and are also suitable for the quick and reliable seam repair. In addition to rail-bound systems, we also offer mobile solutions – transportable by crane, forklift truck or SPMT.
Our long seam milling machines (underground a. overground designs) are equipped with an intelligent copying system which compensates the height difference in case of uneven pipe supports. This way, we ensure a constant seam depth at any time. Quick and economic operation with milling speeds of up to 1,000mm per minute and cost-efficient milling tips with multiple cutting edges. The operator-friendly and accurate seam tracking is carried out by means of an integrated camera and laser pointer at the control screen.
Graebener® Plate Edge Milling Machines
Our plate edge milling machines operate with high precision, fast and reliable even under the most difficult conditions and after years of operation. We offer plate edge milling machines individually tailored to your requirements in a wide range of possible designs, e.g. with slewable milling head, moveable clamping beams or as tandem system. Our solutions are ideally suited for a wide range of plate dimensions: plate length up to 30 m, wall thickness up to 150 mm, individual plate weight up to 100 t.
